BEE EATER

A SUPER COCKTAIL FROM MY GARDEN OF EDEN

Going through my beautiful herb garden a “Bee eater” was stuck suddenly in front of my eyes, as he was so sharp he caught an insect and was repeatedly hitting and rubbing the insect. It was all about his characteristics richly coloured plumage, shelder body and elongated tail feathers and sharpness in his eyes it was all red and elegant that morning.


I went back to my bar and was preparing my Mise for the day and the bird was coming all across my mind which gave me my new innovation.
Recipe:
• ¾ ounce peppermint syrup
• ¾ ounce lemon juice
• 2 ounce Absolut vodka
• 1 ½ ounce pomegranate juice
• 6 leaves of fresh Basil
Method:
1. In a cocktail shaker muddle fresh pomegranate and basil leaves
together.
2. Combine lemon juice and peppermint syrup.
3. Add Absolut vodka.
4. Add ice to the cocktail shaker.
5. Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients together.
6. Fine strain into an old fashion glass over crushed ice.
7. Garnish with basil leaves and fresh pomegranates.
8. Enjoy the drink remembering the bee eater
